Google Analytics - Flow Visualisation

Although the new Google Analytics interface has been running in parallel with the old version for some time, it is evident that many people were struggling with the unfamiliar layout, preferring to use the old version.

Now however that the old version has been switched off, we have no choice but to use the new interface. Of course, anyone who has used the new system will know that to have maximum benefit, the new version of Google Analylics needs to be linked to a Google Webmaster tools account, but many new features are available even without Webmaster Tools being set up.

One great new feature of the new version of Google Analytics is Flow Visualisation, although this has been around for some time, I know that many will not yet have had time to review this tool. In October 2011, Phil Mui from the Google Analytics team wrote a post in the Google Analytics blog highlighting the features and benefits of Flow Visualisation, rather that reinventing the wheel I thought that readers may wish to link to Phil's post covering Flow Visualisation.
