When Rand Fishkin Met Paul

The Online Excellence Day held at Glasgow on 12th February 2010 proved to be a great success. Globally renowned search guru Rand Fishkin (CEO of SEOMOZ) showed real interest in the new URL tail rewrite software developed by Paul Graham and the team at Eskdale. Rand Fishkin shares the belief that creating SEO friendly URL's is a major factor in search engine optimisation, discussing several examples with us where, in Rand Fishkin's opinion, this one factor was responsible for generating around 50% more web traffic.

This was Rand Fishkin's first visit to Scotland and coincided with Rand Fishkin visiting SES London 2010. We're hoping that Rand Fishkin will be back again, his two excellent presentations provided a real insight into search over the past year, together with Rand Fishkin's predictions for what he sees as important in the future.
