Whilst at a meeting last week I overheard a group discussing meta tags and was shocked at what I overheard. The knowledgeable one was delivering a sermon on the importance of the meta keyword tag and in doing so deriding the other meta tags.In order to re create some balance I thought it would be good to get back to basics.So what are meta tagsMeta tags are blocks of code within a web page that informs search engines what the website is about.
