Eskdale Solutions has built websites for Dumfries & Galloway businesses since 1999. Our office is at Fairways, Loanwath Road in Gretna, and most of our clients are within an hour of it: hotels and holiday businesses on the coast, manufacturers and distributors along the A74, solicitors, retailers and charities in the towns.

Where we’re based
Our office is in Gretna, and so are some of our longest-standing clients. We first built the Gretna Green Village Photographer’s website in 2003 and rebuilt it in 2011; we launched No 1 Tanning Lounge on Annan Road with its website and all its marketing material; and Festaff’s event-staffing platform, which now runs nationwide, started here.

In 2011 we rebuilt the website for Stevenson & Johnstone, solicitors and estate agents serving clients throughout Annandale and Eskdale.
Distributors that sell worldwide
PPML trades used process plant around the world from Lockerbie, and needed a stock catalogue international buyers could search by equipment type. For Outwear, which distributes professional outdoor clothing and equipment from Lockerbie, we built a distributor portal.
Industry and manufacturing
Kellwood Lighting supplies industrial lighting from Dumfries to customers across the UK; its site has to convince specifiers in cold storage and distribution. We have also built for FTS Dyers and for Border Tablet, the Dumfries & Galloway and Scottish Borders Producer of the Year 2010.
Hospitality that books direct
Balcary House Hotel wanted guests booking with the hotel rather than through commission-taking platforms. Direct booking is the job for most of the region’s hotels, guest houses and holiday lets — and it’s the job we build for.
Further west
For The Pheasant, a restaurant in Sorbie near Wigtown, we designed the logo and the website. Near Newton Stewart, Rural Swim sells private time slots in its pool, gym and treatment room through a booking system we built.

Can we meet in person?
Yes. Most projects start with a meeting, at our office or at your premises. For clients across Dumfries & Galloway that’s usually the easiest way to agree what the site needs to do.
Do you only work with local businesses?
No — Festaff, Unbuilt Studios and Argus Eyes work across the UK. But most of our clients are in Dumfries & Galloway and Cumbria, and local knowledge is a real part of what we bring.
Can you look after our IT and CCTV as well as the website?
Yes. We set up and support computers, networks, email and hosting, and install CCTV and access control, so one local firm can look after all of it.
